Concurrent and Concentric Triangleadmin2019-07-05T16:05:04+05:30
Shree Yantra is made by overlapping of four upward pointing triangles and five downward pointing triangles representing the Shiva (Purusha or the masculine energy) and the Shakti (Prakriti or the feminine energy) respectively.
These nine overlapping triangles (resulting in 43 small triangles) represent the essence of Shiva-Shakti. Therefore, these triangles must be concurrent and concentric, in order to bring stability in the structure. Concurrence and Concentricity are important to balance the masculine and feminine energies and to spread peace and harmony. Also, the central triangle, known as “Trikon” must be an equilateral triangle.
